This website has been developed by the Solicitors Family Law Association (SFLA) and NCH (NCH ).

Resolution is an organisation whose members are solicitors committed to best practice in Family Law. There are a number of solicitors in the Association who are specialists in the law relating to children in Public Law Proceedings. A solicitors involvement with a child usually ends when a Care Order is made. It is often after this point that children and young people have questions. The aim of this site is to give access to information to children who are in the care system. The Association is grateful to Rosaleen Henry, Peggy Ray, Diana Creasey, Maureen Grenville, Nina Hansen and Joan Vis who are members of the Children's Committee and who gave so much time to developing this project. It is also grateful to Mark Ashford, Criminal Defense Solicitor for his assistance with the section on crime.

NCH helps children achieve their full potential. Through our services we support some of the most vulnerable and excluded children in the UK. NCH helps over 80,000 children and young people accross the UK.
